ParticipantLets chalk this one up to user error. The solution worked great!
Thanks Geoff.troywoodland
ParticipantYup, that is the event in question. How I have it set is:
Recurrence: Custom – and will end on October 15, 2014
Frequency: Weekly every 1 week on: Sun, Tue, Wed, ThuIt is just posting every day from the post date to the end date. I have also added an event ‘Testing – Please Ignore’ (live now) doing the same method above, and you can see how it repeats. Really odd. Cheers.

ParticipantTo add to this, some of the time when adding a new post with a recurring time, it adds multiple copies of the event to a single day. Some days will have 8 instances of the same event, even though the post was only added once.

ParticipantBrook – I will try the few suggestions again then let you know what happens – it may be hard for me to make the site live at those times. Hopefully following your suggestions I can nail this.
I am not sure if it would be a theme issue as it is a custom theme that is quite lightweight, using minimal scripts and plugins – but with that said I am not a great developer, so there’s that!

ParticipantBrook -Actually I think you saw the original. Is there a time that you are usually looking through these forums that I could put it online for you. The Dev site doesn’t have swfobject.
I also made sure that no plugins were causing this. It is such an odd error.
Cheers

ParticipantBrook – thanks for replying. I have activated the dev site now – you can see it at: http://annapolisroyal.com/events/2014-02-11/. I will keep it active for the next few hours if you are available to take a quick peek. If not, I can make it available to you.
You are correct in that it is a javascript error. This is what I can see in my console:
Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘tribe_spin’
tribe-events-ajax-day.min.js?ver=3.4:3
k tribe-events-ajax-day.min.js?ver=3.4:3
(anonymous function) tribe-events-ajax-day.min.js?ver=3.4:7
b.extend.pre_ajax tribe-events-pro.min.js?ver=3.4:3
(anonymous function) tribe-events-ajax-day.min.js?ver=3.4:7
p.event.dispatch jquery.min.js:2
g.handle.hAny help will be very much appreciated.

ParticipantSuccess! Thank you for being patient Barry and explaining things further. I was able to dig in and find some code that worked perfectly. Much appreciated.

ParticipantThe code you posted was already in the single-day.php. I assumed that out of the box, the mini calendar widget would work like the sample you have here: http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/ – clicking a day that indicates there are events takes you to that days event list. When I click the link, I get javascript:void(0).
Should I try to re-install the system again, or is this an error that has a known fix.
troywoodland
ParticipantTo follow this up, the pages get a href of javascript:void(0) when the number of events to show is equal to 0. So, it seems like it wants to do something…
