These sound exactly like what I am looking for. Less paper to deal with at the event if we use a form (Gravity or Contact Form 7) on the site, or an interactive PDF, available from the site.

We may be a bit getting this going, so I am going to mark this as resolved.

Yes, I have tried the initial step of including the events within the main blog loop. So, it must be my theme settings…
I think I’ll post on their forum to find out where I can find the “post_type” code so that I am not hunting around 🙂

Thanks Brian,
The solution for ticketing just the first in a recurring event series will work for us and the client is happy with the test item on the site.
I’m going to leave the second part alone for now 🙂
