But no, that’s not what I mean. I want to remove the image only from the event list in widget display, not from any where else. I have looked in the widget related files for the event list widget but could not find any reference to image or thumbnail

August 10, 2013 at 5:07 pm in reply to: Trying to add addition Meta under the Organizer Listing #59858tmbondParticipantI followed a suggestion (by Jonah)in another post to add custom fields to organizer using a plugin called “Advanced Custom Fields” (http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/). I successfully added custom fields, and mapped it during creation time so that “Post Type” is equal to Tribe_Organizer (success). After adding custom fields, I then pulled up a previously added organizer and using the fields I created, I added info for him (success). This info is now associated with him and is displayed in admin backend every time I view that particular organizer’s details(success). I also see the info in the database info correctly displayed in the meta_key and meta_value columns.
BUT THE PROBLEM is that the new info from the new custom fields do not show in the front end when viewing organizer info for an event tied to that particular organizer. The only organizer info that show are the three from Tribe (name, phone, website). Kindly let me know how I can make the new custom info to also show for organizers. Thanks for your help.

tmbondParticipantActually, I spoke too soon about problem being solved. Still have the problem of making the featured image upload link to display. It displays when placed in the parent theme but does not when placed in the child theme. Any ideas?
tmbondParticipant@snorton. Well, looks like my problem is solved. I removed it from the functions.php in the main theme and put it again in the functions.php in the child theme and it’s now showing. Thanks.
tmbondParticipantI added the following code to the functions.php in my child theme and didn’t see the upload image feature. I then added it to the functions.php in my main theme and saw it. But still, the main theme isn’t where I should be making changes, so I don’t lose the code through future updates.
add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’, array( ‘tribe_events’ ) );
tmbondParticipant@snorton. Thanks for your response. But the problem is this: I do not see an upload image text field for featured image in my Add Event, the way I see it in the video primer (see #5 here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-pro-new-user-primer/#custom).
