    Hi Geoff,

thank you once again for your quick reply and effort you put in.
I’ve also realised, as you already mentioned, there are many entries and css files I have to touch. Looks like a big job….
I’m just wondering, and this is where I need your expertise and advice, those files and calls I need to disable or change are sitting in the parent theme. Do I have to copy everything into the child theme first? And If I comment a function out will it not be overwritten by the parent theme then? I know how it works with CSS, haeder.php, footer.php etc. but this is a bit more than I usually do. Will be good practise though.

    Best regards
    Thomas

    Hi Geoff,

thank you for reply. I’ve just realised that you have answered so quickly. The notification must have gone into my spam folder – not sure…
Anyway, in the meantime the Theme developers got back to me. Unfortunately, the theme my client bought, Welfare NGO from CMS Masters has the Events Calendar PRO plugin integrated. I wasn’t aware of that.
It ignores basically all the changes I do in the Customizer. I found a TEC Pro folder in the parent theme. I’m just guessing but I could disable or delete it, it could solve my problem. What do you think. Please let me know if you require more information.

    Best Regards
    Thomas
