ParticipantHi Courtney,
Per earlier email response – no, these were not private events, and yes, the token is active. Hoping to get this sorted ASAP as no new events have been importing for a week or more, really need to resolve now.
Filter bar – need to test further.
Thanks,
ScottScott

ParticipantHi Courtney,
Thanks for swinging back. Per above, if business license covers the 3 sites, should be good to refund the personal items. Upgrade – it’s still unclear to me what it provides. Each of the 3 sites will be importing quite a lot of feeds (say 250-300, some of which may be weekly, monthly, or daily… just depends), but it’s unclear what the upgrade offers, how the limits on # of feeds work, etc.
And please do let me know on screens + errors ASAP. I am not importing private events, just public feeds, and yes the token is active. Some imports are throwing up errors while others are not.
Best,
ScottScott

ParticipantThanks, Courtney. I have 3 sites and only need 3 versions such as that a Business license would provide – can you please provide a phone # I can call ASAP to get finacing piece worked out?
Events Aggregator – how do I get the available number of imports up? And what happens to imports that exceed the 100 limit – do they just not get pulled? Essentially, we might want to pull say from 250-300 feeds per each of the individual 3 sites, though some might be weekly or monthly vs. daily – but again, the website does not make it easy to figure out where/how to get the right license, and we are now up against a major deadline.
License – so these are actually up and running? Have to know as again major public milestone is looming.
Filter – using it on category pages, e.g. events filtered by location or venue.
Also — seeing lots of red exclamation points on a lot of Import/History sources. What would be causing this? Trying to resolve ASAP, and will try and send a screen in a private message.
Please help! Up against a wall here.
Thanks,
ScottScott

ParticipantFollowing up again, especially re duplicate events on calendar.
Scott
ParticipantJust circling back here – solutions??? Thanks!
Scott
ParticipantThanks, Shelby, widget seems to be fixed, but having conflicts with WooCommerce – any idea how to resolve?
Re: your other questions:
– Calendar seems to be pulling in a lot of duplicates – how do we prevent? (See screenshot below)
How are you pulling in the events? (Exported from other site, EA with Google Calendar, etc?) Details about the settings you’re using are super helpful here too!**** We are pulling in from Facebook feeds. Is it possible if you schedule to import from the same feed twice by accident that it won’t catch the duplicates? How can we fix if so? Wonder if this is what’s happening, but not sure.
– Is there a way to autotag imports? In our case, we want to pull events from multiple organizers in multiple cities – How can we create what are in effect multiple calendars, with each submissions from each city separated to the appropriate calendar?
This sounds like two separate questions to me. So, while you can create the “effect” of two calendars using categories, and linking to the same event page, but filtered by a taxonomy (for example, here on WP Shindig), you can’t actually have two calendars. Also, auto-categorizing isn’t a feature at this time unfortunately. ?
***** There must be a workaround – any thoughts? I’m guessing one way to do this is to assign everything a category – e.g. Jacksonville vs. Hartford – and offer a filtered view default on certain pages (e.g. /calendar/hartford vs /calendar/jacksonville). But how can I arrange to tag things appropriately, or make these filters work, if there’s no autotagging – can I manually go in and update these in bulk? How often will I have to do so? Or is there a view command that I can link users to as a hyperlink that auto filters by location?
Thanks!
