BethParticipant
All good. We are on WPEngine and I was able to research it. I have not brought it up with them as I have not noticed any issues.
BethParticipantI have migrated that sub-site off of our self hosted server into a multisite on WPEngine and everything works as it should. Thank you for your time!
BethParticipantI have tried what this forum topic suggests to disable javascript/ajax that could be causing the trouble in my instance: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-the-events-calendar-page-load-speed
https://gist.github.com/jkudish/1897080 Updated to remove “sp” per the above forum item and I still get my ajax spinner etc… I am not sure if there is another script that is loaded when using pro events.
When I load in Safari with javascript disabled everything works great.BethParticipantI turned off all plugins except the events calendar and the events calendar pro. The problem persisted. I am using an unmodified Twenty Twelve theme. Is there a way to disable that particular bit of ajax? I am fine with a page refresh.
Thanks!
PeterBethParticipantThis is what the site info for this subdirectory site looks on the superadmin panel : https://cloudup.com/cnorIiaEyHs
BethParticipantI forgot to mention that when logged in everything works… just logged out visitors to the calendar can’t page through months using the next/previous months.
BethParticipantThe URL is: http://mainsite.arbor.edu/visit/calendar/
It is on a subdirectory site so the subdirectory is: mainsite.arbor.edu/visit
Mainsite.arbor.edu is the primary network. I see how this could be part of the issue because the system info shows the primary site and not the subdirectory as the site it is enabled on.

December 12, 2013 at 6:31 am in reply to: Next and previous month on full calendar not working #81392BethParticipantFor the time being I have manually set the domain name in the multisite site’s settings. That works… except that I can’t access the admin of the site. It will hold me over until I do upgrades over the weekend. Thanks for all your help.
December 11, 2013 at 7:05 am in reply to: Next and previous month on full calendar not working #81220BethParticipantThanks! I’ll take this up with our server admin. It could also be that our version of domain mapping could be outdated as well.
BethParticipantYes. That gives me something to build around. Thanks!
