    Playing around with the template I found that removing this event header seems to fix the problem. I think the only thing we loose is the button to add the event to your calendar.

    <!-- Event header -->
    	<div id="tribe-events-header" <?php tribe_events_the_header_attributes() ?>>
    		<!-- Navigation -->
    		<h3 class="tribe-events-visuallyhidden"><?php printf( __( '%s Navigation', 'the-events-calendar' ), $events_label_singular ); ?></h3>
    		<ul class="tribe-events-sub-nav">
    			<li class="tribe-events-nav-previous"><?php tribe_the_prev_event_link( '<span>&laquo;</span> %title%' ) ?></li>
    			<li class="tribe-events-nav-next"><?php tribe_the_next_event_link( '%title% <span>&raquo;</span>' ) ?></li>
    		</ul>
    		<!-- .tribe-events-sub-nav -->
    	</div>
    	<!-- #tribe-events-header -->

    Wonder why that would be causing the conflict?

    When I manually add the following classes, the images show up….so why would TEC be overriding or cancelling out these styles?

    So how do you handle overrides for .class.php files? See my post above.

    It appears though this message is created through the events-list-widget.class.php file not a view file.
