SteveParticipant
I created a template to display ALL venues. For a venue list. To do this I didn’t need to alter any of the files related to the plugin.
I haven’t altered anything applied to displaying ONE SINGLE VENUE.
I have not been able to isolate the problem – I have no idea why this is happening – hence me coming onto the support forum 🙂
SteveParticipantHi,
I haven’t altered the venue file within the web documents, however my venues do not show upcoming events at the bottom – instead they show a ‘featured view’ of the current venue. Which is obviously pointless.
I would like to show upcoming events – and am not sure as to what bit of code needs changing, or how this happened in the first place.
My single events also show upcoming events at the bottom – but only show the same events. Very frustrating indeed, and I would like to know how I can change this.
Cheers

SteveParticipantWhen you say refer to it with TribeEvents::VENUE_POST_TYPE, where do I refer to it?
And do you mean replacing the ( ‘cat’ =>67, ) With ( ‘post_type’ => tribe_venue )
Told you I was new to this *sigh, haha, very much appreciate the help!

SteveParticipantGreat, thanks barry.
Done it for all i.e. single , list and single venue. However, want to get rid of it too in the pop up in gridview.
Thanks a lotSteveParticipant“So in the snippet I shared last time there are basically three blocks, each starting with and ending with – in this case you could try removing the middle block.”
This refers to the entire end date (incl time), not just the specific time itself.
Is there a way to just remove the time?
ThanksSteveParticipantand not necessarily just for list.php. Probably plugin wide, so for gridview, single.php, community events etc etc.
Want to do a similar thing with the year.
CheersSteveParticipantHi Barry
Just wondering how I remove only the end time?
ThanksSteveParticipantNot any more, I changed some edits I did in view.php. Still seems to be occurring for when I preview though. Not a huge issue though.

I’m really desperate here Jonah.
Many thanksSteveParticipantYes, I have deactivated all other plugins besides core and PRO plugins and issue still persists. With all events, both recurring and not, this occurs. I have also reverted to default WordPress theme, and is not a theme conflict.
Using 2.0.11
I’m meant to be going live very soon and this is really disappointing.
Thanks for your time JonahSteveParticipantOk. Right. Then do you know Barry how I might go about registering a new taxonomy- venue categories- that can be used with venues and then be able to add them to my menu?
Many thanks, and appreciation for your patience!SteveParticipantNo, I’m talking about venue categories (added to function.php file.
thanksSteveParticipantnavigation menu on front end of site
