ParticipantWhy can they only belong to one category?
Matt
ParticipantSince it didn’t work I put it back…but just switched it so you can see. http://dev.bostoncoc.org/events/category/southern/
Matt
ParticipantI removed the subcategory under Southern and it still gives me no events. I also noticed that it’s not giving me all the subcategories events under Congregational but it is giving me some. I wish I could figure out what the discrepancy is.
Matt
ParticipantNo, I wasn’t trying to show an issue in TEC…the Southern calendar has a child category associated with it (but so does Congregational) but what’s odd is that not all the events from Congregational seem to be syncing either. Maybe it’s a Google calendar issue?? What I don’t get is that all the events are showing correctly in Outlook/Apple Calendar. So odd…
Matt
ParticipantThanks Andy! So what’s weird is:
1. The calendar adds to Google
2. The events aren’t showing up
3. If I go to calendar settings in Google and click the ical link, an ICS file is downloaded that has all the correct information in it.So I’m completely confused. It’s almost as if Google can’t view the events within the ical link for some reason.
I’ve actually put the code active in http://dev.bostoncoc.org/events/category/southern/ in case you want to experience the fun for yourself…
Matt
ParticipantCorrect…any help is much appreciated!
Matt
ParticipantDo you guys offer support if we wanted to pay you directly to help us get it figured out? My developer has pretty much disappeared so we’re really stuck at the moment.

Participanthm…looks like the comment box stripped the code…
<a href="" title="Subscribe to this calendar using your favorite calendar program (iCal, Outlook, etc.)" class="ical">iCal Subscribe
<a href="" title="Subscribe to this calendar in your Google Calendar" class="gcal-add" target="_blank">Subscribe in Google CalendarMatt
ParticipantWell, I think all he did was create a link to generate the calendar referencing the ical functionality…and what’s word is that it works fine for Outlook but not Google.
Here’s the code, not sure you see anything that might be off?
<a href="” title=”Subscribe to this calendar using your favorite calendar program (iCal, Outlook, etc.)” class=”ical”>iCal Subscribe
