    Hello Geoff,

    I found the conflict. It was with the Content Timeline plugin. I submitted a support request with them. I will follow up after I hear back.

    Hi Cliff,

    Thanks for your help. It turned out there was a hidden redirect found in the hosting account. Everything seems to be working well now.

    Hi Cliff,

    I still seem to be having a problem when the slug is changed back to “events”. I attached two screen shots. 1 is when I click “August”. The other is when I copy and paste the URL and it shows a 404. Same URL showing but the page is broken when you try to go directly to it.

    The direct links to specific events work. The direct link to the calendar months do not.

    I have deactivated all plugins and switched to the twenty seventeen theme and this issue is still occurring.

    Please advise.
