Geoff! Took me long enough, but I have identified the problem. Looks like this plugin is interfering: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-excerpt/

As soon as I deactivate it, TEC starts displaying properly again. Have you encountered an error like this before?

Also, do I need to do something to let the Plugin know that I’m PRO now? Do I reinstall a PRO version of the plugin or something? Let me know. Stoked to get TEC rockin’ on my pages!!
