Thanks so much for directing us into the right spot. After checking that setting I realized that the events template was set to default page template, not default events template which fixed the issue after it was changed.

Hi George,

Just wanted to let you know that another college of yours figured out the issue. It wasn’t a plugin conflict at all. Simply a page template error. Just so you know for future, under our “Default view” in wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab, the events template needed to be changed to “default events template” which it doesn’t do by default.
