    Hi Josh,
    I’ve added your CSS code in the root test/wp-content/themes/sparkling/tribe-events/tribe-events.css and it’s all right! Thanks a lot.
    Thank you again for your support!

    Ok Josh, here I am!
    First step: the problem doesn’t depend by plugins.
    Second step: I’ve tried with Chrome browser Code inspector and I’ve found the “col-md-8class.
    In the root directory of Sparkling Theme, this class is contained in: test/wp-content/themes/sparkling/inc/css/ .
    But I have noticed that there it’s present in two files: “bootstrap.css” and “bootstrap.min.css“. In these ones the class is:

    .col-md-8 {
    	width: 66.66666667%;
    }

    I’ve tried to set it at 100% in “bootstrap.min.css” and the calendar it’s ok, but the Home Page appears distraught.
    In “bootstrap.css” nothing has changed.
    Sorry, but with all my goodwill I wouldn’t know how to proceed. Do you have a suggestion?

    Hey Josh,
    thanks a lot for your help!
    The border issue is now solved, but I’m still trying to find the problem with the full width view, following your advice. Yes, there was the Sparkling child theme; I have deleted it, but without results (there was only the basic code to begin tests). Also, I use some additional plugins and I’m trying to understand if there is something wrong with…

    I’ll let you know news, as soon as possible.

    Ok Brian, I’ve found now the conflict!
    It was the plugin “Advanced Excerpt“… but I need this plugin. Do you have a suggestion about this?

    Hi Brian,
    I’ve installed the PRO version, maintained the original translation file (my language is italian) and it’s all ok!

    So, I confirm that the problem was due to my personal/previous translation “.PO” files (FREE and PRO version)… but I don’t know exactly why… may be a conflict with strings.

    Regards

    I’ve uninstalled the Free version and Pro. Now I’ve installed only the Free version. At the moment I don’t see any warning message. It seems to be all ok.

    I’ll go to test it and try to understand the source of problem. I think may be somenthing wrong with translation files (I’ve done by myself the italian translations of Free and Pro version with POEdit software and replaced the originals with), so I’ll tell you some news in next days…

    Thanks

    P.S.: the message appears only when I open the menu “Events/Settings”.

    Hello Rob!
    Yes, I read your terms of service, but I have also read this in the plugin help: ” Written documentation can only take things so far… sometimes, you need help from a real person.”
    So, please excuse me if I have been too pretentious, but I can’t understand precisely the limits of your support because I’m not an expert in php and css code… I see “only” a simple change of “@” with “at”(“alle”), but if you tell me that it’s a big problem and this go out of your limits, I trust you.

    Thank you for understanding and patience.
    Best regards and good work,
    Paolo

    I’m sorry but the documentation can’t help me because I understand nothing in it. Can you ask to your colleagues if there is someone can help me to solve this little problem, please?

    No Geoff, I’m not able to remove the overrides… I would be happy and grateful if you can help me to do this.

    Ok, I thought it might be useful for you to have access into the test site.
    Unfortunately I’m not an expert in PHP, so I’m not capable to do anything in the suggested function…

    As you reported in your example screenshots above (September 15), I have the same result:
    in the “Event List” is all right, but when I select the “Single Event” page view (see my Event Test Page) the word “alle” (set in Setting > Display) is read as a set of PHP date format characters (Date/Time in WordPress):
    – a = am, pm
    – l = Sunday – Saturday
    – l = Sunday – Saturday
    – e = Europe/Rome

    But why? I’ve tried to insert the escape with the “\letter” format… but nothing happens.

    … So the result is (as reported in the event test link above):
    – Start: 9 maggiopmvenerdìFridayEurope/Rome14:00 (*)
    – End: 11 maggiopmdomenicaSundayEurope/Rome15:00

    *(Note: maggio is may; venerdì is Friday; domenica is Sunday)

    I don’t know how to solve this problem, but if you tell me that it isn’t possible to make this change, I must give up.

    Hi Geoff,
    yes, I’m updating this under Events > Settings > Display.
    By the links you can see my steps in the order:1 and 2.
