ParticipantHello,
after the installation of Pro version 3.9 I have noticed this message at the top of the screen (in WordPress Dashboard):
Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /web/htdocs/www.ofsliguria.it/home/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 39I didn’t have this problem with previous versions.
Can you help me? Thank you.January 2, 2015 at 1:40 am #927690Paolo
ParticipantP.S.: the message appears only when I open the menu “Events/Settings”.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
I can help troubleshoot this with you.
The cause of that message could be a corrupted file on the update.
Can you please try deactivating and deleting the Pro Plugin and then downloading the latest from your account here on theeventscalendar.com.
Then upload and reactivate and see if that helps.
If not we can go to the next steps to troubleshoot this.
Please make sure to backup your site first as you should not lose data doing this, but it is always good to have a backup.
Thanks

ParticipantI’ve uninstalled the Free version and Pro. Now I’ve installed only the Free version. At the moment I don’t see any warning message. It seems to be all ok.
I’ll go to test it and try to understand the source of problem. I think may be somenthing wrong with translation files (I’ve done by myself the italian translations of Free and Pro version with POEdit software and replaced the originals with), so I’ll tell you some news in next days…
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
I’ve installed the PRO version, maintained the original translation file (my language is italian) and it’s all ok!So, I confirm that the problem was due to my personal/previous translation “.PO” files (FREE and PRO version)… but I don’t know exactly why… may be a conflict with strings.
Regards

MemberMaybe it was just a corrupt file?
I am glad to see you were able to figure it out.
I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.
