FYI – Wanted to share that there is a work-around to the Facebook import being broken.
1) Mark yourself as attending all the facebook events you need to import into a website.
2) Open a facebook event you are attending and click “export event” from the MORE menu.
3) Copy the link to your facebook web ical calendar.
4) In TEC Aggregator, create a one-time (or a scheduled) ical event and use the facebook web ical calendar URL.It works just as well as before the Facebook policy changes (except that the photos still don’t cross properly).

importing and that fails too on some of them. It says “no preview
available”. Only one imported. Not sure why. With gratitude and purpose,

So one of the links says “Facebook Unavailable”. The other link says “must
use the same account to create the links as the account that is importing
them”. The second case is true of three of my events that won’t import. I
created the events and refreshed the connection using the same account. They
all say “no preview available” and even an individual import won’t work. Here are the events I am trying to import:

But it would be nice if there was any way to apply the entire year of the Nov 4 Aggregator purchase to the Sept subscription.
It’s very clear we didn’t need this second purchase now that I have additional help. But when I tried to install our existing Aggregator license from the first subscription on our second site back in November, it would never validate the key. That’s why we thought we needed the second license, so we went ahead and bought it (only to find out now that we never needed it at all). ☹
If it’s not possible to get the full year applied, please go ahead and apply the remaining 8 months of the Nov Aggregator subscription to the Sept Aggregator renewal, which will leave us with one license with a new renewal date of May 2019.
Just let us know how you apply it so that we can verify our account.
Thanks so much!

Linda WendtParticipantPS. I agree with Shane though. It would be very important to update the functionality description of what is and is not supported and also update the user instructions. I spent HOURS on this testing and trying to figure out if there was something I was missing before finally creating this ticket (and before FB changed their calendar so you can see clearly which events belong to a group and which are shares).
Updated documentation would be very helpful to new users.
Linda WendtParticipantThanks so much Victor and Shane for clarifying these two issues. Although not ideal, I now understand what will and will not import automatically; and I also have a work around for importing individual FB events regardless of the host of the event. That is sufficient.
Thanks again!
Linda WendtParticipantThe group I need is:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/nfinterfaith/?ref=bookmarksYou will need to join the group with the login you are using to import,
yes? Will you be joining as Victor? I need to approve you. However, I may want to import events from other groups as well and none of
them work right now. I believe I provided an example of a group that is
an open group and that didn’t work either.Linda WendtParticipantThis just happened to me today as well. Mine was a plugin conflict. I just turned off everything except The Events Calendar Pro plugins and they worked fine. I then added my other plugins back in. Looks like my Mojo Marketplace was corrupt. Once I deleted the plugin, I added everything else back in and it seems fine!
