Thanks, Barry! I think we were looking for something just like this. Will look into it a bit more, but should be able to make this work. Thank you for your help!
Best,
BernhardBernhardParticipantBarry,
Thanks for the reply! We have adjusted all the settings to the format we need, but unfortunately it does not seem to carry through to the “This Week” widget (it is the widget we are using on the site, not just the weekly view). See the following link for an example:
Right now we are suppressing all the non-numeric characters next to the date manually in the code, but that does not seem to be a sustainable solution (I am guessing it may also limit our ability to update the plugin).
Best,

BernhardParticipantThanks for looking into this, Shelby! On your points:
1) We did go through all the settings and they work great for the calendar, EXCEPT for the weekly widget, here it seems to have no effect. The team has also looked at possible language issues and made sure that WP has the required files. Unfortunately, the day and date format in the weekly widget still shows in English (we managed to translate the other items, such as the next/previous links, header, etc.).
2) We checked for plugin or theme conflicts and there seem to be none that would affect the language issue. Of course the theme does affect the header design (points 2 and 3 on my original list), but changing to a different theme is not an option at this point.
Best,
