Hi – fixed it – following your testing for conflicts procedure – it was Jetpack, which upon reading, was a pretty obvious clash! Disabled related posts on Jetpack now 🙂

tried with twentysixteen – the same issue, small related event detail is wrong, ugly big related events at the bottom are correct.
If i turn off Related events, the small ones stay!

Looking at this as an example: event

You can see Related events features twice – once near the top (which is showing published date), then later on, which are correct (but with a big calendar icon).
Is there a way to delete the incorrect ones at the top?
I’ll revert to another theme and see if that highlights if it’s a theme issue

Hi – thanks for responding –
I’ll try reverting back to twenty-sixteen in the first instance. I’m a WP noob, so if I do that, can i revert back to my current theme without losing any of the changes i’ve made?
