Awesome thanks for clarifying. Would I have any issues updating the devel and staging environment as updates are posted? Before we update plugins on production, we always test them on devel and then staging. So I just want to make sure we are covered.

I have changed the theme to twentyfour and still see the issue. We are running both IE11 emulating IE8 and WindowsXP IE8.
Please have another look with the default theme in place.

It seems that in IE8 the month links are still visible even though there are no future events. However, when you click those link nothing happens. I would think that the links should be hidden as well.

I see now that this was an intentional change and not a bug. Is there a way to disable this new feature?
