Hi, Thanks for asking.
Sorry for the delay, but our issue has (preliminarily) been resolved.

We had an earlier, proprietary ‘Events’ plugin which likely was causing URL conflicts at the “event” root.

Seems to consistently work, now that I disabled and reenabled that plugin and clear the system cache.
