    Hi András,

Well, no, because we’ve made local changes to the content. That would override them all.

How does the plugin determine whether or not there are local changes to specific fields?

    Hey,

Heh, yeah, sorry, I thought I cancelled posting this but apparently not.

My problem is that the event date, or more specifically, time details aren’t updated via the scheduled import functionality.

I have Event Update Authority set as Import events but preserve local changes to event fields.

So, for instance, an event was originally imported as 2017-10-26 16:30 – 2017-10-26 18:00. It has since been updated at the source (Google Calendar) to take place at 2017-10-26 17:00 – 2017-10-26 18:30. This change is not tranferred to The Event Calendar event.

Nah, I’m good, thanks (sorry forgot to mark as resolved)!

    Thanks Cliff,

Yeah this worked out pretty well. Note that tickets created with Event Tickets are kind of hard to access via the admin panel directly so I just deleted them straight from the db. That snippet in the link you posted for deleting all orphaned post meta is helpful too!

    Thanks!

Thanks for the elaborate response Barry, this is what I wanted to know. As mentioned, I fully understand the complexity of the feature (actually we need multilingual support as well 😀 ) and appreciate your efforts.

This is enough for me to explain the situation to my client and figure out how to proceed.

    Thanks!

Do you have any update on when you might support this feature? At the moment it’s a show stopper for our project and I hesitate on doing custom development for a third party premium plugin. I understand that it’s a very complicated issue and if you haven’t been able to solve it, I doubt we’ll do much better in a meaningful timeframe.

So basically I’d very much like to know if this is even in your pipeline and whether we’re talking about sometime in the near or distant future.

    Thanks.

Thank you for your response! I think this enough for now. We’ll investigate how to proceed based on this details.
