Upgraded both as well as upgraded the WP to the latest version. Also went in and deleted the pro plugin and wiped out all files and then reinstalled…hoping that all of the above might do something. Still doing the same thing though. We have had to temporarily deactivate the pro plugin so that the client could add events. The only downfall is they can’t do reoccurring events. You guys have a great product with this so have no prob sticking with it and working through this and getting it all fixed up. Appreciate all of your help thus far.

    Hey Rob,
Sorry for the delay in response…got swamped with a few large scale projects and didn’t mean to leave this issue unattended. I have no idea as to why the admin bar is gone when a non-admin is logged in. I went through and deactivated every plugin but the Free version of the Event Calendar Plugin. Doing this…everything works perfect as an editor with adding an event. But…the second I activate the Pro version…the admin bar goes away as does half of the functionality for adding an event. I am at a loss as well. I have no problem giving PHP my admin access to the dev team and/or ftp access. I also did try activating both the 2011 and 2012 default themes…and same problem exists.

Rob, both plugins are 2.0.5. Resaved the permalinks. And did notice that the visual editor works in pages and posts. So the issue is isolated to only events pages.

Hey Rob…thanks for the response….already a sign of a great product! Alright…I went through all plugins installed (including Role Scoper) and deactivated one by one. Nothing changed until I deactivated the Event Calendar Pro premium add-on plugin. Once that was deactivated…I was able to see the visual editor again..as well as the event location/venue/organizer details. All of the above become hidden when the pro plugin is activated. Again..this is only affected users which have an editor role…not administrative. I also just activated the 2011 theme which I have not edited at all…and am seeing the same problem.
