Problem solved. Thing was that the wordpress mo&po had to be ru_RU.mp/po not just ru.mo/po. However for Arabic, just ar.mo/po works fine. Another tattoo idea.

    Cheers!

    Hello!

And thanks for the prompt reply. I somehow was afraid that these plugins and themes will somehow mix with eachother. But I can’t see that happening in this case. For these reasons:

    1) The Arabic version has weekdays and months translated. So does the Swedish and Finnish. They just came from somewhere.

    2) I browsed through the Tokopress’s mo/po files, no signs of relevant fields, which could lead me into weekdays or month’s name. Therefore I cannot compare the things in the first point. Look for something that is in arabic transaltion and which are in russian translation.

    3) I searched all the files of the site for a Finnish word Tiistai (tuesday) and changed that everywhere into tiistaj. The calendar always showed tiistai.

    4) I disabled the Eventica theme, and that did not make any difference.

EDIT: OK, they appear to come from the WordPress mo&po. AND NOTE TO SELF: DONT EDIT JUST THE .PO FILE STRAIGHT FROM FILEZILLA, BUT DOWNLOAD, OPEN IN POEDIT, SAVE, UPLOAD. Anyone knows a good tattoo studio with good font selection? I need the above in my palm. In Comic Sans. 🙂

I’ll change the status in to resolved as soon as I’ve really resolved this.

    Cheers,
    Mikko
