Until this bug is fixed, is there an alternative widget code that I can use to list the forthcoming events in a specified category?

Visitors can search the events using a taxonomy search plugin – the nav_manus do not disappear when archive pages load for searches on the other 2 other custom post types – only the tribe_events
The nav_menus are there when you look at the standard template for an event or upcoming – so that is fine, but if someone searches for an event ((tribe_events) custom post type is included in site loop) the search results page (normally the archive page) is dropping the nav_menus.
Hi Barry, Thanks for the response but the website is using pretty permalinks already.
The nav menus did disappear on other archive pages for custom post types, but I fixed that – it’s just the Event archives that are not showing the nav_menus now.I’ve solved this problem – stripped the ecp template right back and added each individual element with styles from my theme .
The default doesn’t work well in SingleEvent view.
Would it be possible to include just the List view in a completely separate template and hard code the buttons ?I deactivated everything – but it didn’t solve the problem. Here is the loop function from the theme http://pastebin.com/yWM19znP.
Could I include something else instead of “tribe_get_current_template()” into my page-template.php ?
Last resort thinking – if both ‘upcoming’ and ‘month’ functions work correctly based on different PHP templates could there be a workaround ?!Event Settings is set to use my own template http://pastebin.com/sgRZNVB1
