I’m certainly no expert, hence the reason I’m stuck as well, but I can see that your site is also not generating the required html for the +/- signs. They just aren’t even showing in the DOM, same as in my case.

From what I’ve uncovered, as they are generated by Javascript, a good place to start if they are not being generated, is to check for javascript errors/conflicts. A quick firebug on your site shows that you are calling the Google Maps API twice, which may be causing the hiccup. Alternatively, there is another warning relating to your Isotopes .js file. I’ve had heaps of conflicts/issues with Isotope myself in the past, so that might be another place to look further.

Hope that helps a bit. Good luck!

Spoke too soon, it isn’t actually adding anything to the cart!

Boom, that’s my problem solved! I now have a neat, stable little dropdown instead. Hope this helps if you don’t find a solution to the missing buttons.

    Thanks all

    Hi there,

I’m having similar problems with the +/- not always appearing. It seems they are displayed via javascript and I’ve found that script problems/conflicts can cause them to drop out. I’m now finding that this can be really hard to nail down between different browser versions as well! I’m now able to see them in every browser I can test for, but the client still says they are having to refresh the screen to see them. They have asked, & I kind of agree, to just have a regular dropdown box instead? How would we go about implementing that in tickets.php?

    Thanks!

    Hi Casey,

The site is now live under the following URL, although we are blocking ticket sales to non-members until this Friday (18th July).

    http://www.appledorebookfetsival.co.uk

I can send you a guest login if you like though?!

Would be great to be featured as a showcase site although the Event listings only show for about 5 months of the year for this site.

I did just stumble across this thread:

Continue displaying events until after they're over (or have been over a week)

Where they seem to be trying to do similar to myself? Do you think that loop query might work for us? Also, I did think it might be a case of querying events times, but what would be the best way to access & query the event timestamps?

    Cheers!

This is similar to what I am hoping to achieve in this thread:

Still display events that have passed

As the calendar is for a 10 day festival, if I can’t find a way to keep older events form still showing, the Festival ‘Lineup’ is just going to keep getting smaller and smaller as the Festival goes on! Like you, I’m also looking to find a loop that will keep showing all events, even if they are highlighted as ‘Finished’, until a point where I will stop showing the lineup.

I’m personally only looking to really modify the List & Day View, as opposed to Month, but I expect the principles are the same.

I’ll have a play with the loop suggestion above as well.

    Cheers!

    Hi Casey,

Thanks for that, adding /past/ does indeed work to show past events. It is showing just past events though obviously, but are you saying there might be a query string I could add to show both? Do you have any suggestions,on that, as I’m not too comfortable with them!?

Also, as this will be the most promoted URL of the Festival, as it is essentially the schedule/lineup, I’d hope to avoid having it look too messy or misleading. Having ‘past’ in there for example would look a little janky?

I’m already using template overrides for list.php, could I modify the loop in any way?

    Thanks again for the help!

    Mat
