ParticipantThe buttons to add/subtract tickets to/from the cart have disappeared. How might I resurrect those, and also, how might I style them to fit the rest of my theme? It seems like it should just adopt the theme’s Woocommerce styling, but it doesn’t.

MemberHi!
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us and my apologies on our delayed response. I’d love to be able to assist you but at this time I am not sure which page you are speaking about for having missing +/- buttons.
Are you speaking of the “Add to Cart” Tickets page that is shown on the individual Events? If so using latest version of WooCommerce and 3.6.1 of The Events Calendar and WooCommerce Tickets I see the +/- buttons next to each ticket as shown in this screen shot : https://cloudup.com/iNdF6DOZ_1O
Can you confirm this is the page you are speaking of? Also we do create our own Tickets Grid on our events page using the /events-tickets-woo/views/wootickets/tickets.php template file however it uses standard woocommerce styling which enables the +/- feature.
Thanks in advance for your help resolving this and again for your patience,
– Matthew

ParticipantHi there,
I’m having similar problems with the +/- not always appearing. It seems they are displayed via javascript and I’ve found that script problems/conflicts can cause them to drop out. I’m now finding that this can be really hard to nail down between different browser versions as well! I’m now able to see them in every browser I can test for, but the client still says they are having to refresh the screen to see them. They have asked, & I kind of agree, to just have a regular dropdown box instead? How would we go about implementing that in tickets.php?
Thanks!
Mat

Boom, that’s my problem solved! I now have a neat, stable little dropdown instead. Hope this helps if you don’t find a solution to the missing buttons.
Thanks all
Mat

ParticipantSpoke too soon, it isn’t actually adding anything to the cart!

ParticipantThe pages I’m talking about are the actual event pages, in the tickets area. The +/- buttons have vanished, and instead visitors have to manually enter how many tickets they want. Here is an example page: http://torrancechamber.org/event/gourmet-food-and-wine-festival/
Thanks.

ParticipantI’m certainly no expert, hence the reason I’m stuck as well, but I can see that your site is also not generating the required html for the +/- signs. They just aren’t even showing in the DOM, same as in my case.
From what I’ve uncovered, as they are generated by Javascript, a good place to start if they are not being generated, is to check for javascript errors/conflicts. A quick firebug on your site shows that you are calling the Google Maps API twice, which may be causing the hiccup. Alternatively, there is another warning relating to your Isotopes .js file. I’ve had heaps of conflicts/issues with Isotope myself in the past, so that might be another place to look further.
Hope that helps a bit. Good luck!

MemberHi:
Sorry for my delayed response. I did another round of testing on the WooTickets purchase tickets option on the Events Page and I am seeing the plus/minus buttons on the Twenty Ten, Twenty Thirteen and Twenty Fourteen themes. This means that you are facing a Plugin/Theme Conflict.
As noted from kinddesign there are a few JavaScript issues on your site that could be stopping the buttons from being added. To identify if the issue is with your theme or another plugin you can follow the steps outlined in our help page Testing for Conflicts. Once you know the source of the conflict then resolving would be next step.
I hope you find this information useful,
– Matthew
kinddesign, if you are still facing issues with the dropdown customization please create a separate thread and one of our support team will follow-up.

MemberHi, I wanted to quickly follow-up with you and determine if you are still facing the above issue. If you could let me know that would be great. If I don’t hear any further updates I’ll go ahead with closing this thread.
Thank you,

ParticipantHi,
Sorry I didn’t respond. I have already tried disabling plugins and re-enabling one at a time. Problem is, even when I had just the necessary plugins installed (events calendar plugins, and woocommerce plugins), there were no +/- buttons. I’m thinking this is a theme conflict, as they disappeared after I updated it, if I remember correctly.
I don’t know enough about coding to fix this. It would be nice if they could look like the +/- buttons that come packaged with my theme. The way the ticket area looks doesn’t really match the rest of the event page anyway.
Thank you for following up, and for the assistance. How might I proceed?
