My problem was the NextGen Gallery plugin – it has conflicts with TEC in spades that renders it unusable, so i had to nix it and find a new gallery plugin.

Turns out that plugin also kills your search functionality and mapping. There is a bad conflict with your plugin and the NextGEN Gallery. I hoep other gallery plugins don’t have the same problem – I’m off to hunt for a different one, fortunately gallery functionality isnt a major issue for my site

I traced the Plugin causing the issue: “NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati”. So does this mean I have to axe my Phot Gallery plugin simply to have a working Calendar widget?

Hang on – I’m having the exact same problem and I just shelled out $50 so that I could have a Calendar widget – what’s the point if i cant easily see on teh widget calendar the days that events happen on? All I see is a static calendar and a list of upcoming events underneath it. Any decent calendar allows you to see and click on days on the grid to see what events are happening on that day. Are you telling me this is not an option?

I’m having the exact same problem. Im seeing the west coast of africa, no events.
