ParticipantAwesome! thank you for that. Although, last night I buckled down and played with the code myself and figured out a solution. Our developer had built us a custom shortcode file, so I needed to make changes there. I added classes for day and date (ie: .sun .Jul-17). My goal was to have a simple list of performances, with a division between weekends to make it easier to read.
This page gave me some grief, but it was solved by creating custom css specifically for this page:

Thanks for your help!

ParticipantThat is pretty much what I suspected, that there isn’t an easy way to do it. It would be EXTREMELY helpful if this function was added to a future release. It makes styling lists of dates so much easier.
I’m used to working in Drupal, where adding a custom CSS class to any field is extremely easy and doesn’t require writing any code. Maybe someday WP will have such modern features. 🙂
I’d pay a developer to scribble out some php to make this work, but since we’re already into him for over four grand, and we’re a poor theater company, this will have to wait.
But seriously, you should add this feature.

ParticipantI’ll look into the map customizer solution and let you know if that works for us.
It seems that having the ability to view and link to venues would be crucial to the map view on the calendar. The different views of the calendar should reflect different ways to find the information about events. The list view, month view, and day view are excellent. But I can’t be alone in thinking people look at maps to find locations as well as individual events. This is set up to show events at a location, but while the the map gives the address for the location, it doesn’t include the venue name.
For instance, I have several different shows which will be at a single venue, and all our shows tour to multiple venues. And The marker on the map only shows the first event for each event. not all events. Having, at minimum, the name of the venue would be a great addition. I’ve turned off map view on our live site, as it doesn’t provide enough information to users, but I have it active on our testing site so you can see what I mean. http://greenstage.org/testing/schedule/map/
It seems to me, an option to list the venue on the map would allow users to have another way to find the information. I know this isn’t currently part of Events Pro, but you should consider adding that feature in future versions
