This is for the front end users. So anyone that is not an admin. We’ve updated to version 4.0 and are still having this issue. This is true for the Community events and for the calendar pro.

Which leads me to one more question:
1. On the pro version Anyone creating an event that is not an admin is unable to add pictures. They can with Community events but not with the pro.

I figured it out. So for each plugin you want, you need to purchase. This is unclear (at least it was to me) in the pages for Filter Bar and Community Events.
