ParticipantHmm, it still seems to only be showing past events. It shows the earliest scheduled past event. For whatever reason, the widget no longer works with the shortcode generator since the latest version came out. Weird.

ParticipantI’ll give it a shot thanks. If I wanted to increase the number of upcoming events shown, would I just change the number? For example, from “1” to “3”?

ParticipantMy testing has made me believe it’s an issue with the Events List widget, or at least it’s compatibility with the shortcode generator. It’s not the caching, and I don’t think it’s an issue with the shortcode generator itself because I am using the shortcode for other plugins and they are all working just fine.
I tried adding the event lists widget to my blog sidebar and it works as it should – showing the one upcoming event – but it is no longer working when i generate a shortcode for it and insert it into a section of a page. It used to prior to the update. It now doesn’t update at all – it shows old events, and you can’t change the title, etc.

ParticipantThere doesn’t seem to be one that just shows the upcoming events.

ParticipantI actually can’t get the widget to show upcoming events either….it’s just showing past events. I can’t even update the title of the widget. I am using a caching plugin but this was always working just fine previously. Not sure what is going on with it…I tried disabling the caching plugin, I’ve tried purging the cache, and still not working. I even tried to remove the shortcode from the page, and the widget is still showing somehow.

ParticipantBeen trying to get support for this issue for 3 some odd days. I thought upgrading to Pro was supposed to come with support….

ParticipantAnybody?

ParticipantJust for context, I have checked the other shortcodes I have generated for other widgets so that I can place wherever I want on my site, including a widget for a recent blog post plugin, and those are all working just fine, so seems to be an issue with the events list widget….

ParticipantI actually don’t have them as featured events, so not sure why they’d be showing up if that’s the case.
But this code worked! Thank you!

ParticipantOk, thanks for letting me know. Sorry, forgot the link. Here it is: https://www.breatheforbea.org/contact/.
I’ve created a child theme for my parent, so I’m ready to make whatever edit I need.
Thanks!

ParticipantHere’s a link that is using the widget in the sidebar. It’s the list-widget, I believe, the upcoming events list widget.

ParticipantI’ve figured out how to remove the featured from the single event page, but still can’t figure out how to remove the featured image thumbnail from the list widget. Please help!
