JacobParticipant
Sounds good. Thanks for letting me know.
JacobParticipantAlso – I have turned on WP_DEBUG and don’t see any errors in the log straight away…
cheers,
JacobJacobParticipantMy apologies. Here’s the URL for the staging site with no other plugins and the 2017 theme: https://bsia.staging.wpengine.com/events/
It’s a similar issue here – but sometimes the button to past events doesn’t appear. If I go back and try again, it’s often there. But then it doesn’t advance to the second page of past events…
Hope that helps. I’ll try and turn on DEBUG as well.
JacobParticipantHello again,
If it’s helpful – here’s a copy of the site will all plugins (except The
Events Calendar, The Events Calendar Pro and Events Tickets) turned off,
and the theme switched to 2017. The same second-page-of-events-archive
error seems to occur…JacobParticipantBrendan,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve now checked every plugin on the site – and
also tried the default 2017 theme. The error still occurs!Interestingly, the back pages of events are there – you can go to their
URL directly (e.g.,
https://bsia.staging.wpengine.com/events/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=3&tribe_event_display=past
)It’s just when you hit the “Previous Events” button the second time that
it somehow doesn’t trigger the second page of past events to come up
even though the URL changes.hope that helps,
JacobParticipantThis issue seems resolved. Not sure how – but the RSVPs are working again.
JacobParticipantp.s. This is for the Events Tickets plugin – not Events Tickets Plus.
JacobParticipantThanks, Courtney. I’ll voice that request.

JacobParticipantGeoff,
Thanks for your careful reply to this thread. I hadn’t included the ยป in my string previously, so tried it again with that character.
Regrettably, it didn’t work. And I don’t know enough about PHP to analyze this further.
As this is a fairly minor issue, I’m going to drop it there for now and move on to other more major issues (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/non-mosiac-display-for-photo-event-view/).
Thanks all the same for your offer to do further testing…
cheers,
JBJacobParticipantGeoff,
Thanks for your reply. I was able to change the RSVP title with that snippet, but regrettably not the “Find out more” text. I’m not very savvy with PHP, so I may have missed something. Any other ideas?
cheers,
JBJacobParticipantBrilliant, Jamie. That seemed to work perfectly!
many thanks,
JacobJacobParticipantGeoff,
Thanks for looking at this issue. They code you suggested worked, but it seemed to keep the non-retina version of the logo active all the time. I have been in touch with the support people at Avada and they suggested that I ensure the WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) in WordPress settings were set to https:// (they weren’t previously though the site had SSL). When I made this change the Retina logo posed no more issues! Not the fix I expected, but it worked!
Cheers,
JBJacobParticipantThanks, Barry.
It turns out this was a cacheing issue with my website host WP Engine – and they’ve resolved it. Thanks anyway!
