June 27, 2012 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Possible to remove "News from Modern Tribe" dashboard widget? #21269JamesMemberHi Joyce,
Thanks for your help on this. I have added this but unfortunately the widget still shows up. Perhaps I’m missing a step. This below is what my functions.php file for my theme looks like:June 24, 2012 at 4:07 am in reply to: Possible to remove "News from Modern Tribe" dashboard widget? #21125JamesMemberThanks Joyce that is helpful but I was looking for something different (sorry was not clear). I am looking for not having it show up on the dashboard by default. For example, a new user registers on my site an logs into the admin area, I do not want them to see the ModernTribe news dashboard by default (not having to take any action – ie go to Screen Options).
May 16, 2012 at 6:58 pm in reply to: WordPress installed in subdirectory, default "events" slug page shows Index / pa #19287JamesMemberSure thing. As of right now it seems to persist because my WP installation is in a subfolder (/sitefiles). I have a test local installation and the /events slug behaves without error, showing the expected calendar page. Additionally on the site that is not working properly, I have to go to to ~/events/month to see the calendar grid and if I click on next month, the month pagination links lose there position on the screen (screenshot: http://cl.ly/3j3r380E081F1b2k1R0E). Thanks. JZ
