Hmmmm…me thinks I smell a blow off here…you know for some of us theres not enough time…probably the majority of us…how many it take to make a crowd here? In my case two of us ran through multiple iterations of me switching one plugin on…they’d refresh…try to login…switch it off…we did this about 30 minutes over, under, sideways, down. I got down to thinking it was a combination of two but zeroing in on those two together left one contender standing. Enough to convince me beyond a doubt…that something was funkadelic with community events…so I get on here…been using your software for almost a year…oh my…my license renewal time for my 3 pack of Pro…community will come later and then filter… Guess what…I’m not impressed. On a lighter note however, from reading the posts I flipped off the “Block access to WordPress dashboard” flag…activated Community events…emailed the wicked witch to try it…Presto…it was miracle…she had no problem with the admin login…nope didn’t get redirected. Of course it had nothing at all to do with Community Events…I’m sure. I better go set up a test environment.
Hi…I’m on here because of the same thing…the host of our church website blew a nut and told the church I destroyed the website over this…am I having fun? Today on the phone I pushed thought the plugins on & off & all kind of combinations…and yes…community events. I hope you guys can come up with something…I gotta deal with this crazy woman…and, i personally think your calendaring suite rocks and want to continuing using it…I paid for it out of my own pocket. Thank you all very much.

Is I get a newsletter on a Thursday…I want to keep it listed in the event list widget until the next Thursdays newsletter…if I put the date it arrives…like a 5 minute period or whatever…it’s gone from the list…I then used the whole week which didn’t work since it mugged the calendar view…my last resort is putting next thusdays date in which still looks a little confusing since next Thursdays date is viably associated with this Thursdays newsletter. Any ideas would be helpful…ideally I could create the event when it happened but keep it listed (ie the “sticky” question) until I didn’t want it visible … Typically when I’d post the next newsletter as an event…
Ultimately, maybe I just need to abandon this approach and try something different.
