Thank you for your response, Cliff. I do not think I would need to do a manual update because the issue isn’t so much seeing the warning, as it is the plugin information not showing up on the website pages. At the moment with the most current version, my work-around will be to activate and deactivate the plugin by site for testing as needed when using staging. Not a huge issue for me as each subsite is the same codebase, but I could see how that would not be ideal for other multisites.

Thanks for that info, Brook. I absolutely makes sense and I understand why that capability is not there. I think the user role editor path would also be a better option then I can provide granular control to users who are more savy. Cheers!
