ParticipantThanx Brian….
I was pretty sure the random recurring events puzzle had not been figured-out by the current builds. Thanx for saving me the cash of buying the renewal that wouldn’t have done it. I hope someone there will see this recurring event need someday.

ParticipantIt would be great to hear from a non-frontline Tribe employee as to why their developers can’t pull this feature request off. I purchased the Pro version thinking that the recurring events feature would be more advanced but that version couldn’t do it either.

Participant10-4. Maybe someone else will throw up some ideas. Maybe someone else will see a new plugin development niche.

ParticipantI don’t think this feature request has a time line. It has been requested for a long time. At this point we are looking for another event calendar plugin. Any recommendations appreciated. There must be other companies that need recurring trip events like us.

ParticipantBarry thanx for researching this mystery of broken child themes. I understand the CSS fix. I think there are many child theme users using WordPress’ default themes (2014, 2013, 2012, 2011) and I would want my plugin’s content displaying properly when using default themes using an empty child theme. If ECP doesn’t display properly some of the default themes, document to developers that the theme will need some CSS tweaking to work with any child theme setup. The helper CSS for twentyfourteen was very hidden to me.

Participant10-4. Looks like tools can export Events, but other types like venues, must be exported in separate XML exports. What would really be really kewl would be to embed the same calendar into a second domain. Anybody done that?

ParticipantHmmmm. I am using twentyfourteen theme (no child theme setup) and the ECP calendar displays fine. If I use “Default page template” in settings area, the calendar looks squished as the content area is too narrow to display the ECP calendar content. Something else seems to be going on here.

ParticipantJust want to second this problem with Calendar Pro and twenty fourteen child setup. My 2014 child theme has no tweaks but the calendar content is offset left into the sidebar.

ParticipantClose this one please. Resolved.

ParticipantSame page offset issue happened to me using Twentyfourteen. I setup a child theme for 2014, but the page layout was already offset before I added any child theme changes.

ParticipantWorked for me thanx.
