ParticipantHi!
There was an event that was every friday – The lineup changed each friday so I wanted an easy way to duplicate the “Bulk” of the information and then amend the lineup.
EG see links below:
http://onin.melbourne/event/coburg-night-market/
http://onin.melbourne/event/coburg-night-market-2/
etcRegarding the publish date – if you look at the venues you will notice that this is how it is done. I’m not even sure what *random* order the events is in. 😛

Glenn.

ParticipantFeel free to call me Glenn (I have a feeling I will be here for a while!) 🙂
I thought of it because I am brilliant (Just ask me!).
http://onin.melbourne/ In the area of upcoming events – wherever a reoccurring event is happening.
Also in the event screen – I think it would look better, As per link below.

ParticipantI found a plugin called “Add Meta Tags” that seems to do this OK.

ParticipantI thought that would be just for my instance but it seems to remove it from the other accounts also…
Thanks

ParticipantI noticed in your tutorial video that the url had events in it so I tried to go to the following url and it seems to be working. I think there is a bug in how it displays this info to the user that you might want to look at.
What is should be: http://domain/events/community/add
What is displayed: http://domaincommunity/addRegards,
Glenn.

November 21, 2014 at 4:25 am in reply to: text "and 'Everything is Awesome'." crashes submission #893566Glenn
ParticipantI can no longer reproduce the issue.
I did install a new version of the OS (10.10.2) which also involved a reboot. The problem has gone away. It might have been as simple as a reboot. But I was using the MacBook when publishing to another WP site (on the same server. Save version also) where it worked fine.
I don’t know what it was but it is gone now.
Thanks for your time.
Glenn.

ParticipantAlso – Another WP site as a post and it was ok on the troublesome MacBook.
And I am able to publish it as a post on the site in question – just not as an event.

ParticipantOK – It has me stumped.
Tested on 3 computer.
Windows 7 IE – No problem
Mac OS 7.5 Safari – No Problem
Macbook Air with 10.10.1 fails with both Safari and Firefox.Firefox returns:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.I guess it is something local to my MacBook. (I hate computers!!!)

ParticipantHi – Thx – I think this was a small bug (maybe an ant.) Given I don’t plan on pointing to any categories that do not exist I can live with it.
Regards,
Glenn.
