Julie -> Thanks for the response. However, I want to use the list view as a default. Just wanted more headings to break up all the events. Instead of just showing the month (ie. Nov) I wanted it to show the specific days (ie. Nov 15, 2013 etc).

I was able to get it to do what I wanted by making some customizations to the code. You can see my calendar listing here: http://findtimeforfun.com/northeast-ohio-kids-calendar/

The ability to select how you want to group the events in the list view, would be a great feature to include in future releases.

nakturnal -> Are you comfortable updating the code? If so, I can let you know which files we modified to get the headings.

I believe I’ve figured out what is causing this. It happens if I have the default in the settings checked to ‘Show only the first instance of each recurring event.’ If that setting is checked, when I click ‘See All’ for a recurring event only one of the events shows (sometimes it’s the first in the series, sometimes it’s the last in the series). If I uncheck that default when I click ‘See All’ it shows all the events in the series.

FYI: I wanted to customize my submission for view so I copied the necessary files to the /events/community folder and now the title issue appear to have gone away. Not sure if it was related to me copying the file over, but thought I would pass it along.

    Thanks!

I’m seeing the same thing where the page title is displaying as “WP Router Placeholder Page.” It’s only on my Community Submission page not the Event Calendar Pro page.

    Barry,
Thanks! I to was surprised to see a performance issue right off the bat, especially since so many other seem to be using it just fine. My hosting is through GoDaddy. I have not enabled any caching, not sure how to do that. Should I be enabling caching?

I’d be interested in getting a copy of the Beta version of the 3.0 release of the calendar.

I’m also interested in finding a solution with the performance issue. I just installed the calendar over the weekend and am in the process of imputing events. I’ve noticed a slow in performance almost immediately after adding a handful of events. As of now I have less than 100 events, but will easily have 3-5k each year. I really want to transfer over to using EC instead of a google calendar, but am concerned about performance.
