ParticipantThanks, Barry. I purchased a new Linux hosting service just for this site and all seems to be working well.

ParticipantDone. Still no event submissions registering from the /add link.

ParticipantActually, I wiped the site completely clean and started from scratch, downloading WordPress 3.5.1 and then Events Calendar and CE. I can load events from the WordPress admin panel, but not from the CE link:

ParticipantCorrect – I tried with the other plugins deactivated, and with the 2011 and 2012 default themes. The list of events I entered yesterday displayed under “My Events” in the default themes but not in the responsive theme I’m using. Hope this helps figure out a direction!

ParticipantHi Barry – thank you.
OK. Step one is solved. Here is an IIS host treatment that worked:
http://einaregilsson.com/pretty-wordpress-permalinks-on-iis/
(using the download link in instruction item #1, not copying the php lines actually in the post). At least now the custom pretty permalinks work, and CE is working.
There are other problems such as the CE list not displaying events submitted, and the text on the submit form is cutoff (maybe there’s a css paragraph setting somewhere with a top-margin). I’ve seen similar problems solved elsewhere in these forums, so a-hunting here I go!
Thanks.
