MemberHi guys, we’ve just experienced another hangup when editing a couple different recurring events. It seems to happen at random, as some would take the edits and others would result in freezing upon update.
What is your advice to get this fixed? I’m seeing some talking of deleting the plugins and reinstalling. I am not opposed to that if it does indeed work. Unfortunately our client’s site is slated to launch by mid-month and I’m considering ditching the plugin altogether and just building out custom post types.
It’d be a shame, but the plugin is currently worthless in our eyes if these events cannot be edited.

MemberNo problem Rob, glad to have a solution. Shouldn’t really need to hack it this time, for future sites it shouldn’t be too difficult to pull off.

MemberThanks Grace! Fortunately this will work for me as the site in question isn’t currently running a blog. I’d be curious to know if there’s a more future-proof solution in the works.

MemberAnyone? I need some help with this please. Let me know if I’ve not been specific enough. Unfortunately I can’t publicly provide the URL as is a client project in development, but if you can PM me I’d gladly send someone a link.

MemberThis happened to me earlier when editing an existing event. It’s not an elegant solution, but I ultimately deleted the event that was causing the spinning update and created a new one. So far this has only happened once, and I’ve since edited more events.
