ParticipantI am sorry but I still not convinced with what you’re trying to say.
All plugins and the theme I’m using have a problem or coding preventing the buttons from being displayed?
Don’t you think that’s kind of strange and doesn’t make sense? Can you tell me of a plugin that I can try to install and will show its buttons in the visual editor used by Community Events, just to prove your point?

ParticipantWell, I see but I kind of disagree here as I’ve tried adding another plugin, Viper’s Video Quicktags which added 5 new buttons to the visual editor in the back-end and nothing in the community events Visual editor.
So, it seems like your plugin is using some kind of a custom editor not the default WordPress one.
All I am asking for is an option add the common WordPress visual editor that appears everywhere on the back-end to the front-end of the Community events.Thanks.

ParticipantThank you for pointing out this tutorial but I really don’t think the problem is with the plugin I am trying to use but rather with the community events as the button I’m looking to have in the Visual editor appears on every edit screen except yours and here are screenshots for that.
Add post:

Add page:

Add event( the back-end):

Community event:
http://screencast.com/t/ZimWY6EdxOVpThe buttons I’m highlighting are one made by the plugin in question and the other is a short-codes made by the theme itself, so it’s not just the plugin but rather all custom buttons not appearing in the Community events Visual editor.
Hope this makes things clearer.
Thanks.

ParticipantHI Casey,
I’ve just updated to the new version for Community events, and I see the Visual editor is still showing as it used to be, nothing has changed here like we hoped!I just need to load the same visual editor that I can see in the back-end, can you please, help me with that as my project depends largely on this point?
Many thanks.

ParticipantHi Barry,
Thank you for pointing out this method, I wasn’t aware of it.
I just tired it and now my styles are working properly. Many thanks,

ParticipantIf you look at this page for June 2013,
http://www.eps-assiut.com/events/2013-06/.tribe-bar-date-filter is shown as float: left; whereas I’ve used a float: right; in the style.css file and same thing applies for all the css rules I’ve shared at the top of this post.
All my styles above are there but overwritten by the plugin’s own styles.
elmalak
ParticipantYes, that’s it, at the end of my theme’s style.css file.

ParticipantHi Jonah,
I understand what you’re saying, but the point is those rule worked just fine in version 3.0 however, after updating to 3.0.1 or 3.0.2 they are no more working, so did anything change in these versions in how the css is getting called?I am using the exact same rules but the ones with the plugin take precedence over mine right now which wasn’t the case at first, so am I missing something?

ParticipantHi,
A quick update;
after updating to v. 3.0.2 my Arabic styles are all getting overwritten by the plugin’ own styles and everything is back to the left to right alignment again.Do I need to manually edit the plugin’s own css file for this to work or what?
I usually add my style to the theme’s css file. Thanks,

ParticipantHi Jonah,
You were right again!
Setting the language to Arabic for both Front and back-end solved this problem. Many thanks for your great support.

ParticipantWell, actually this time I used the WordPress language plugin,
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-language/
Does that make a difference? -
