what we need to do is to search by the name of an australian state,

qld = Queensland
nsw = new south wales
wa = western Australia
nt = northern territory
tas = Tasmania
sa = south Australia

there is at least two events on in december this year in victoria
near melbourne.

i am able to search by “vic” on your demo website,

the website from which we made our decision to purchase your product says

there is events on the 12th december at salon first – burwood which happens to be near melbourne
