Interesting: When you change the display from week to day the link is
https://www.tango-austria.com/?tribe_event_display=day
and this works.
It’s only the specification of the exact date
&eventDate=YYYY-MM-DD
that causes the problems.

Hi,
Unfortunately none of these hints solved it.
Permalinks all options tried, this twenty seventeen theme activated, then step by step all plugins deactivated.
Same.
This doesn’t work
https://www.tango-austria.com/?tribe_event_display=day&eventDate=2018-09-10
but this works
https://www.tango-austria.com/?tribe_event_display=day

Why is the &eventDate=2018-09-14 causing such problems.

Great, all works now.
1. You should stress more that this extension is needed. It is not that obvious!
2. Permalinks option change helped to show the /venues and /organizers
