No. We do not have both plugins active. Let me try again to explain my issue.

We only had free version of event calendar plugin installed and we are using it fine. Now we purchased the PRO version and I was able to install it fine on website but it keeps saying that if I want to use the PRO version of plugin, I need the latest version of free plugin, but there is no option to upgrade the free version of Event Calendar plugin.

You are asking me to remove the free version of plugin and install the latest version again but I do not want to lose the events we already have on our free plugin.

Hope this explains the issue and I get some resolution to it.

I see them under “installed plugin” but as I said, we have been using the free version of plugin on our website and it already have few events added. If I remove it now, will I not lose all those events?

Thanks for your quick reply but as I said, the free version of events calendar plugin has already been installed on our website. And when I tried to install the version 4.5.3 of the “the events calendar” it fails saying “the directory already exists”
