Well it seemed to automatically be deleting 10 events every 30 minutes – with 6,000 events that wouldn’t work so I ended up having to get my coders in to hack away via phpmyadmin so I guess this is resolved now.
dealerdanParticipantOkay well I was going to try the alternate version from the link you posted however that only links to an image not the actual plugin?
dealerdanParticipantThanks Brook – appreciate the help. Hopefully will be good to go from that. Cheers.
dealerdanParticipantI believe you meant the “Date WITH Year” box as opposed to without. As the problem is when the year is being displayed.
Thanks – all fixed, and glad to hear it’s not just me 🙂
dealerdanParticipantHey,
I don’t see anything in display settings. I’ve taken a screenshot of the date format settings you can see that at:
http://www.kingstonontarioevents.com/dateformat.jpg
I also tested by temporarily removing any modifications in {mytheme}/tribe-events/ folder but that didn’t change anything. However it’s also occuring in the sidebar widget area, so it does look like it’s a global issue.
I also tested by changing themes but same deal there.
As far as I know, there are no filters that are changing the date outputs anywhere or anything like that, although if you want me to look anywhere just let me know.
Thanks Brian!
dealerdanParticipantThanks. Actually I just wasn’t thinking straight. Can just override /month/content.php. All sorted now thanks. Sorry about delay in reply.
dealerdanParticipantAh yes – I understand the issue now. As it’s on the homepage it’s not including the /events/ folder. So I can just run a 301 from /today/ to /events/today/
I’ll hold off on doing that in case there’s something else you’d rather me do just let me know. Thanks.
dealerdanParticipantHi Casey,
Yep I am using Event Rocket.
dealerdanParticipantHey Barry,
Thanks for the quick reply. Love how fast the support is on here BTW. Yeah I’ve noticed negative impact with /category/ before and always remove it from my sites immediately. It’s always easy enough to do either with a hack(putting ./ as category base under permalinks) or using any permalink plugins or SEO plugins. And I can get it do it for any posts or pages – just not for the calendar plugin.
