Member@jonah… lol… i think i figured out the disconnect. i thought the faq removed the entire page but i just noticed that it removes the buttons only. which is working… lol…so i was looking at the wrong one… lol… i need to remove the buttons from the calendar view in order to remove access to the list view. lmao. my bad. thanks for your help π

Member@jonah. yes it is in wp-content/themes/extensio/events….. however i noticed that the link that you posted yesterday is no longer working. i get an error page. i suspect that even though folks were saying to use the same link you sent (which worked yesterday) that it was not the updated faq. the instructions i was looking at were dated feb. can you please send me the updated link? thanks.
Davida
Member@joyce- thanks but the link includes the same instructions that Jonah sent earlier. I do not see an update. the instructions i see read as follows:
To remove the buttons from the events list view, make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/list.php and place in an βeventsβ folder in your theme. Then find lines 15-23 and remove them.
this is what i did and there is no change.
please advise

Member@andy thanks π awesome. i actually found the article that inspired your plugin and updated the css… lol but i definitely will look out for the updates to your plugin because i definitely want to utilize it.

Member@Rob I followed the link that he sent me. i assume he sent me the most updated instruction if not, where is the update?

Member@Jonah also i am using the premium version but made the change in list.php in the regular events calendar folder. if i try to open any of the files from views in the premium folder i get an error saying no such file or directory exists although i can see the files. could this be the issue?
Davida
Member@andy thanks. unfortunately i had to remove your plugin. for some reason when it is active i am unable to save any of my settings in the “events calendar settings” panel. not sure if it theme specific or an issue with the plugin. sucks because i like the idea of it.

Memberthanks jonah but that didn’t work π
i tried deleting the lines in the copy of list.php placed in events folder and also commenting out the lines in the original list.php in the views folder.
no change
also cleared my cache.
any thoughts?

Memberi have a request. i would like there to be a none option for the font color. i originally had my event names styled purple like my theme and played around with adding a background color. after doing so i did not like that particular style for the category but now the only options for my font is white and black. i tried reseting via activate/deactivate and it did not work.
