ParticipantThanks Geoff
I added your code to Avada custom css and it fixed the issue – many thanks.
Strange there was an issue in the 1st place as the Avada / theme fusion team keep making a point that their theme plays nicely with your plugin.
Hopefully you’re still collaborating effectively!
cheers

ParticipantRight – ok. I’ve found the solution. Stupidly easy.
All you have to do is go into “Extras” in Avada Theme Options and tick the box that says:
“Disable Google Map Scripts”
Hope this helps someone out there!
thanks

ParticipantHello there
So this issue seems to run and run. Here is the rather unhelpful reply from Theme Fusion (Avada author) after I sent them your latest reply:
“Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that the theme will work with every plugin or combination of plugins. There are just too many to check In this case you may find the solution in searching for a different google maps plugin and see if that works for you.”
I’m now stating to get a bit frustrated! What do you need from me to resolve the issue asap? Do you need a file from the Theme?
cheers

ParticipantHi Barry
Can you please to me how exactly to stop my theme – Avada – from enqueueing the Google Map libraries? You refer to the solution in “my second reply” which I can’t see. Either it doesn’t exist or it’s marked as private.
Thanks for your help

ParticipantCan anyone help please!? Clearly there a a lot of users with the same problem. Seen as Avada is the biggest selling WordPress theme and Events Calendar the biggest events plugin can you guys not talk to each other to resolve the issue!? Clearly it will be a very popular Theme / Plugin combination.
thanks
