    Sorry, I must have done something in the child theme that no longer works after upgrade. Using main theme instead of child theme cleared up the issue.

    Thanks for these answers. I do understand the concepts of caching, and limiting display.
    Which of the popular WP Caching plug-ins are known to work well and boost performance the most with Events Calendar? Which of them seem to raise issues with site owners?
