Hi Jennifer,
Here’s the theme I’m using https://themeforest.net/item/fildisi-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/19196010
I’m not referring to the page builder, but a meta box full of page options that come with the theme. Please see attached image page-options.png
What I’m looking for is not just changing the styling of the mentioned pages. What I’m looking for is have more control over the content of those pages – add text before or after the event related content (event listing or submission form), or make changes to the header (please see attached image page-header.png) through the mentioned page options.
So what I’m suggesting is, instead of having a custom page for event listing page, the whole event listing content can be placed onto a normal page with a shortcode. That way, I can easily mess with the header of the page through page options, or add content as I wish.
Is my suggestion clear? And how do I make it happen?
Thank you for your time.
code-engine-studioParticipantI will pass this on to my developers. Will get back to you for more questions.
Thank you!
code-engine-studioParticipantThank you for the information 🙂
code-engine-studioParticipantHi again Brendan,
Thanks for the pointer!
code-engine-studioParticipantHi Brendan,
Thanks for the pointer. It would be great if you can give some more specific instructions for our developers to customize this piece, because finding which template files to edit is not really what we need support for :).
I do understand that customization is not within support scope, and I greatly appreciate any helps.
Thanks again!

I understand that it would be out of scope for support.
Just to really make sure, since I didn’t really see from your answer: the CE submission form doesn’t support any form of data pre-population, is this correct?
Thank you for your time!
code-engine-studioParticipantWe will try to come up with a work around for this. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for the response!
I have already purchased the Community Event plugin, so I really hope to make use of it.
If possible, can you please put the links to the documentations we can use, if we decide to go with Gravity Forms solely? I have tried to search in this link https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/ but couldn’t find anything that we can actually use.
Another way to look at this is to pre-populate data into the CE form – visitors have to submit a gravity form (gform) before getting to CE form, and some data submitted in the gform will be populated into the Additional Fields in CE form.
Would there be any way to do this?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
code-engine-studioParticipantHi Victor,
Thanks for the response!
To clarify a bit further, I’m not looking just to remove the start and end time of an event (HH). I’m looking to remove the date (DD:MM:YY) of that event completely – or at least make date (DD:MM:YY) not required when creating that event.
Is this possible?
code-engine-studioParticipantHi Cliff,
I really need it soon so waiting for the idea to get enough votes, then get implemented is not really an option for me.
I would greatly appreciate it if you can give us some pointers, or links to existing documentations on how to customize this.
As a reference for others with the same idea here’s the link to vote on UserVoice: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/12922032-change-datepicker-in-map-view-to-display-months.
Thanks.
