I also deactivated all plugins one at a time and nothing changed.
    So they are now activated.

I need the event rocket because your company’s idea of a calendar and mine are different.
I want my calendar, when someone clicks on my homepage for today’s events, they see TODAY’S events.

I am ready to give up on this although I love what this calendar could do for a true community calendar. But I don’t have the mindset or skill set to learn php at this point in my life.

Even when I select the Events menu on the top row and click on View Calendar, it says the same. The page isn’t there.

Here is the info from the Help menu in your calendar plugin aspect

This is copied from the Community Settings page.
    Community rewrite slug- Community
The slug used for building the community events URL – it is appended to the main events slug. The slug used for building the community events URL – it is appended to the main events slug. Your current community events URLs are

I haven’t changes any plugins since prior to the upgrade. Can you furnish the direct URL to my form? Until you are able to fix the direct URL link on the Events/Setting/Community I don’t see how any plugin problems can develop. I see the problem right there on the community settings. What can we do to fix that? The program did this. Until that link is fixed, why open another can of worms?

I am not sure how this link would ever work:
    http://allekiskicalendar.comcommunity/add
I know this. But your upgrade created the link above. It DID work prior to the upgrade and did not have the mistake you and I both see. I did not create this. The calendar program did with the new upgrade.

That is a completely different website when using a link like that.
Why is it posted under the community settings?

This is the link we want to get working.
    http://allekiskicalendar.com/community/add
Yes, I agree. but when I insert the forward slash and try to go directly to the url, I get a 404. This path was chosen by the upgrade. I have a screen shot showing you this and I merely copied what I saw under the community link.

Okay…bear in mind that I don’t know php at all. I went in to the settings tab and reset the permalinks to the post selection. I saved the new setting. It took. I closed my browser and reopened it to start fresh. I went back into the Events > Settings > Community Tab like you said and the slug still says community as the slug. However… When this was working before, I could access a direct url of the post community event that is used by outside folks to input their events. This link used to be http://allekiskicalendar.comcommunity/add But notice that after the dot com the community slug is right up against the dot com without andy / or . separating them. It was okay before the most recent update. Now the input form is gone. This is terrible for me since this is a community calendar and I am not able to service my community. I used to get 1000 hits a week before changing over to this calendar. Now I’m lucky to get 800 a month with all the trouble I have had getting this to work correctly. Can you please help get this solved soon? I have screen shots of what happens if I insert my own URL fix like inserting a slash or period in order to see if it works. If I take the url in the setting and add a slash I get the 404 error. If I put in a period to separate the dot com from community I get a webpage not available message.
    Thank you

    Thank you!!!!
Finally it reads the correct way. This should be installed when the program is first downloaded for newbies. Why did it take so long for someone there to tell me this? Please tell the others that have tried to help me on this forum. They need to know this. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Okay. Pretend I just arrived from Mars and I can’t program anything. Now, go look at my webpage using this link http://www.allekiskicalendar.com. As you can see the listing in the main screen is a listing of all the events that were inputted, however the events are backwards. The one listed is actually the one furthest ahead in the future. I need this order reversed. When a person go to my website using the link I posted above, they should see the events in the order that is reversed from the one showing.
I was forced to put a Current Events link on the menu with the Enter Your Event so that people who come to the website will see the calendar with today’s events listed first. The next tech said. Okay that’s easy. Just add the function- “tribe_get_events“. But never told me HOW or WHERE to put this function. I am not running a static page. I tried change it to a static page, but there was no way to make the correct events show up in the main window where the Bingo events in January of 2015 now rest. I am using the default Latest Posts. I do not know how to program. So PHP is lost on me. This is a community website. I really need this fixed asap. Can you make the order of events in the big main window match the one on the menu marked current events?
