    Hi Jeremy,
Our theme is this standard one…
    the7dtchildVersion: 1.0.0
on the settings for the calendar, there is a blank for events URL slug and single events URL slug. They both say calendar currently. Is that right? Before, the second one said calendars (plural) which may have been the reason we suddenly had two calendars. Not sure. But I changed it so they are both the same now.
Anyway, now if you click on something in the calendar, it just takes you to a calendar page with another link to the actual website page for that event. Which isn’t a disaster as before, when everything was linking to the wrong event. Can you go and have a look to understand what I mean?
The ideal would be for every event to link directly to the actual event page.
Also, there are two ways to add a URL to an events listing…right at the top of the page where it says add media (typing it out and then making it a link) or down towards the bottom of the page where it says, under Event WEbsite, URLĀ  (example.com). Is there a difference between these two options? It seems when I use the lower one, it starts to link every event to the most recently posted.
Thanks! Your challenge here is dealing with a virtual novice…
    xx Sandra

    Hi Jeremy,
Sorry I DIDN’T see your latest reply. I don’t know why there are two calendars showing. When I go to pages in WP, it only shows one calendar page. So perhaps this is the problem? If so, how do I find and delete the extra calendar?
Regarding everything linking to a calendar page, here is an example:https://meditateintoronto.com/calendar/melodious-drum-prayers/

    Hi there,
It has been over a week and I have not received a reply to my latest query regarding this problem. Now all the events are just going to a calendar page and not to the link actually saved in each posting. Can you please help with this????

    Hi again,
Can you explain why all the links in the calendar are now linking to the calendar itself and not to the page on the website?

Now for some reason the events calendar is defaulting to a calendar page for each event, which shows a link to the actual booking form.
    Check it out…

The thing is, Jeremy, this problem didn’t start until I downloaded the Pro Calendar. So it must have something to do with that. When I deactivated the plug ins before, I did as you suggested, and added them one at a time… each time, the calendar continued to work perfectly. When I changed back to our regular theme, that’s when the problem reoccurred. But it makes no sense for our theme to be the problem, does it?

    Thanks,
    Sandra

In answer to your question, the event was not a recurring event. However it doesn’t seem to matter… I have tried several times with different events, both recurring and one-time…

    Thanks

    Hi Jeremy,
I activated the share system info option so you can take a look.
When I deactivated all the plug-ins, all the formatting of the entire website was screwed up. How do I fix that?

    Hi Jeremy,
Here is a link to our calendar of events.
    https://meditateintoronto.com/calendar/ (https://meditateintoronto.com/calendar/)

As you will notice, all the events for August are now linking to a single event, the lunchtime meditation series. Even though some of the events are evening classes, morning classes, etc. If I go into the events app the link there is clearly the right one… the correct URL, but as you can see, the program is bypassing those correct URLs for some reason. This only seemed to happen after I entered some recurring events. If I delete ALL the lunchtime meditations, the calendar will now link ALL the events in August to the previous entered recurring event. Does my explanation make sense?
I am not a computer geek by any means… so am not familiar with lingo, etc. I am somewhat competent, but have only recently started to update our website. We have a fairly basic website, I think… we offer meditation classes, as you can see. So it doesn’t have any interaction with clients, i.e. no feedback, etc. I am the only one who has been updating the events calendar.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
    Sandra
