ParticipantThanks for the clarification George. I’m a big fan of the plugin and I’m just trying to accommodate our client.
The problem came up when a user entered a new venue (from the front-end) and inadvertently entered a wrong address. Obviously I would like them to be able to make this correction on their own. It’s a feature that absolutely makes sense and I hope its on your shortlist of updates.
Thanks again!

ParticipantHi George,
It appears that even when two users share the same roles, only the author of a specific event can edit that event within ‘Community Events’. In other words, when a user who has not authored any events goes to the list url (http://nwltigers.boostmyteam.com/football/events/club/list) they get the following message. “There are no upcoming events in your queue.” They do not see the events that other members of their team have authored.
So the question is, is it possible to have several users with the ability to edit events regardless of the author from the front-end?

ParticipantHi George,
I appreciate your quick response, but I’m not certain we are talking about the same thing. It sounds to me that you are suggesting that I allow registered users to access “venues” through /wp-admin. I could be misinterpreting your response.
What I would like to do is have registered users edit venues from the front-end. Since ‘Community Events’ allows the user to create a venue from the front-end, I assume there must be a way for them to edit a venue as well. Is there a way to do that and if the page exists, what is the url?

ParticipantI realized that as a interim way of solving an immediate issue I have, that I could simply change the author of the event post. However my first question regarding the ability for select users to work collaboratively and edit the same events from the front-end still stands.
I look forward to a response. Thanks!
